Barça’s Julian Araujo Moves to Las Palmas on Loan

Julian Araujo, the talented right-back, has sealed a loan deal with Las Palmas, as confirmed by FC Barcelona. This move aims to give him a chance to showcase his skills and make an impact in La Liga while being part of Garcia Pimienta’s squad.

In their official statement, FC Barcelona and UD Las Palmas have reached an agreement to have Araujo on loan until 30 June 2024. The player had previously arrived from L.A. Galaxy during the winter transfer window, making a move to Barça Atlètic. Notably, he had an impressive record with 109 games played over four seasons for the US side, with two goals and 14 assists to his name.

Now, the Mexican international is set to embark on his journey to Gran Canaria, having trained with the Barça first team during the latter half of the 2022/23 season.

Another familiar face at Las Palmas will be Munir, a former Barcelona player who recently joined the club after being released by Getafe.
